Short term goals for this month and why. This one is a little strange to me. I have personal goals but nothing I'd want to write on a blog for other people to read. I suppose I could share the one that I have for myself every day. I start every day with two things in mind. I want to make someone else smile & I want to find something that makes me smile. Otherwise the day is wasted!
A picture of somewhere you've been to. I've only been to Canada, Mexico & the United States. Maybe you think that's nothing special. But I think I've been to some of the most beautiful places that could exist. What do you think?
A habit you wish you didn't have. Biting the inside of my lips. If you've ever noticed that I'm almost constantly chewing gum this is why. If I don't chew gum I end up chewing on the inside of my mouth and it hurts. Yay for gum!
Every year on the 21st of January we have a family tradition. We write notes. We buy balloons. We attach the notes to the balloons. The notes are to our amazing Grandma who died when I was 12. January 21st is her birthday. This year there was some crazy snow in the air and it was freezing but we did it anyway. We watch the balloons till they're out of sight, just to make sure Grandma gets them. Happy Birthday Grandma! We love you!
The meaning behind your blog name. Live. Laugh. Love. These are things I try to do every day. The subtitle is slightly more complex. This is the story of a girl who cried a river and drowned the whole world. A year ago I was the girl who cried that river. This is my story. Not of crying the river, but of living my life after it. I live every day to the fullest. I laugh as much as I can. I love without caution.
This week World's Greatest Mom and Nanny go to my friend Katie and me. We're awesome. Miss Izzy is the darling 3 year old I nanny for, Noah & Jordan are her older brothers. Jaden is Katie's darling 2 year old. Izzy & Jaden are best friends, they told us today. Katie also has princess Ella who is only 8 weeks old but I don't have any pictures to put up today. But trust me, she's gorgeous. To see proof of our awesomeness check out my pictures below!

My dear Calvin. I love you. You always have the best insights when it comes to life. I've learned so much from you over the years and anytime I need a laugh I can always count on you. Today I want to share a few of your thoughts (my favorites!) with my friends, family and fellow bloggers. Enjoy!
I imagine girls and bugs have a dim perception that nature played a cruel trick on them, but they lack the intelligence to really comprehend the magnitude of it.
Weekends don't count unless you spend them doing something completely pointless.
Life's disappointments are harder to take when you don't know any swear words.
That's the difference between me and the rest of the world. Happiness isn't good enough. I demand euphoria!
Girls are like slugs. They probably serve some purpose but it's hard to imagine what.
Let's face it. 2010 was not my best year ever. But it did have some redeeming qualities. And finally... for better or worse, for good or bad, I've made it through the year more or less intact. Of course this called for a celebration!
